Take a look inside…

At Oakridge, we care about care.

Our residential and nursing care home provides quality care for residents with varying needs including general nursing, dementia nursing and dementia residential. We also provide respite care following hospital admissions and palliative care for residents and families who require specialist help and support.

Range of Care

Our person–centred approach to care means that each resident is treated as an individual with respect, dignity and confidentiality. Each resident will have a named nurse and individual care plan which details their specific needs as well as recording any activities that they enjoy together with any cultural or religious beliefs to support their care. Within Oakridge there are 4 units. Murlough and Tyrella for dementia nursing residents. Tollymore for frail elderly and Donard for dementia residential. Our staff are trained in dementia specific needs and one of our staff is a dementia champion.

Key Care Decisions

Residents, and where appropriate their families, are involved as far as practical in the decisions regarding their care. Emphasis on all aspects of care is the Manager’s primary concern, and together with the experienced team of staff, all adhere to rigorous standards with internal audits and checks.
